Neveah Hope Gatling was born October 27 at 4:37 P.M., weighing 8 lbs. and 21 inches long. "Neveah" is "Heaven" spelled backwards. And she truly is a little bit of Heaven!

Fall Festival – Saturday, October 25th – 5:00pm
This is a great time of food, fellowship and fun! There are games for all ages, inflatables and our famous cake walk and hay rides! But – we need your help!
Don’t forget to sign-up for chili-beans, cornbread, chips and desserts – sign up sheet is in the foyer of the church! We will also have hot dogs supplied by the CE Dept. We still need you to bring CANDY for the kids. We need lots of candy this year as we will give it at our various game stations.
If you would also like to help serve on the set-up or clean-up committee, please let myself or Scott know as soon as possible. We need your help to make this event a success!
Harvest Party – Wednesday, October 29th – 7:00pm –
All of our children through 5th grade are invited to our Harvest Party – there will be games, snacks and lots of fun! Children may dress up in non-scary costumes! Continue to bring your candy through next Sunday as we will be giving treat bags to those in attendance.

Women's Ministry is planning a yard sale fundraiser, if anyone has items that they would be willing to donate for the sale please let me know as soon as possible, your donations would be greatly appreciated. If you do not have items to donate but you would like to help with the yard sale your time and help would also be greatly appreciated. Thanks to everyone who supported our hot dog supper last night! We raised $194 for the Accelerant Fire '09 trip! The total expense for this trip is in the thousands and is our church's biggest yearly event. It also the only Pentecostal Holiness denominationally sponsored event that we are able to attend each year. The reason we believe this is such an important event is because we want our kids to come in contact with other young people who share our same beliefs in doctrine and theology regarding the Pentecostal Holiness denomination. We thank you all so much for all your support. We definitely could not do it without you! I'm so thankful to be employed by a church that supports its youth department so wholeheartedly!
Don't forget our Fall Festival! It is scheduled for Oct. 25th and we are needing individuals to sign up in the foyer to bring cornbread, chili-beans, and/or desserts. Scott and Jodi Crotty our Church Education Directors are heading up this year's Fall Festival event and they are doing a wonderful job! If you'd like to assist in this event and you've not already been assigned to an area, give Jodi a call or drop her an email. Email me and I'd be glad to pass her information along to you.

BRING YOUR COINS THIS SUNDAY for the Pastor PIE IN THE FACE contest! The contest will run from this Sunday thru the First Sunday in January. There will be a container labeled PASTOR JEFF and a container labeled PASTOR GREENE. If Pastor Greene's container has the most most money in coins by the first Sunday in January, then I will get the PIE IN THE FACE in a very special ceremony that will be held in the Event Center. If I receive the most money in coins--well, you know what will happen.. SO SUPPORT THIS FUNDRAISER! All monies collected will go to fund this year's Accerelent Fire trip!
